It was fun for me to create this beach portrait of siblings. I photographed the 4 siblings on the beach dunes for their portrait painting. Took a bit of wrangling because it’s so hard for kids to sit still, especially at the beach. I photographed them during the golden hour. That’s the magical hour before sunset when the lighting is soft and always the best for portraits. And because I was only using the photographs for reference, I was able to make the siblings’ facial tones even more beautiful in the portrait painting.
