Portrait Painting of a Horse in Watercolor

To paint this portrait painting of a champion horse in watercolor, I chose soft shades of green. I wanted to bring out the beautiful musculature and lovely highlights, only hinted at in the reference photo. A drawing of trees by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot inspired my background. His landscape paintings are truly amazing, especially his trees.
