Project Description
In 2005, my client commissioned this watercolor painting of their St. Bernard as a surprise for his wife. It’s entitled, ”Lucy and Amy, Big Bear, ‘04.” Lucy was their awesome St. Bernard, in her element on that snowy day in the California mountains. It was really fun to paint their portrait, except for maybe Amy’s sweater haha😮. But check out the reflections in her champagne flute … exciting for me to see the distorted sweater pattern come to life as I painted.
