Project Description
In this watercolor painting of my grandchildren, they were actually “baking” with my leftover pumpkin pie dough at Thanksgiving. I turned it into a 2001 Valentine’s Day portrait. The cousins are all in their twenties now. So seeing them as little ones, in the painting on my wall, brings back very special and loving memories. Life moves on so fast. I am really grateful that I took their photos that day and was able to paint their fun portrait later.
I purchased the Junior Bake Set years before they were born, with the dream of future grandchildren in mind. I still have the bake set and my new dream is to create a watercolor painting of my great grandchildren baking with it!
