Project Description
I think this Ventura Wine Trail Celebration poster is one of the best things I’ve ever created. For sure it was one of the most fun projects. I put so much into it: paintings of some of our friends, paintings of people from the Herzog Winery (I was their artist in residence!), the Heritage House, docents in costume, a band, signs for all the participating wineries and restaurants, and I painted each of the wine labels on the bottles. Absolutely a joy to paint for someone detail-oriented like me. Unfortunately, the evening of the Ventura Wine Trail Celebration, people were more interested in drinking than purchasing a poster. 🥲
