Painting of 2 Sisters in Paris

To create this painting of 2 sisters in Paris, I referred to several photos. My clients had taken snapshots of their daughters during a vacation in France, while they were strolling and snacking on French baguettes. Because I couldn’t see enough facial features, I asked my clients to bring the girls to my home and photographed them wearing colorful outfits. It was fun tying together all the colors in the painting to make it harmonious and lively. Years later I found myself on the same street in Paris, leading up to the Pantheon. It was surreal and I felt as though I had stepped into the actual painting of 2 sisters in Paris!
